Reston feels like a real town inside the suburbs. There is a walkable town center, trails everywhere, and people actually use both. It is one of the few spots in NoVA where you do not need a car to grab coffee or run errands.
Worth knowing:
Parking at the Wiehle-Reston East Metro fills up by 7:30am on weekdays. Get there early or budget for the paid garage.
